Narrative:
I am a flight instructor, and I have been flying with this student. It was a nice day with wind right on the runway, so we both got in the airplane and did a few touch and goes. He was prepared and ready for solo flight. He made a few nice lndgs, then I decided to let him go for his first solo flight. We did the paperwork, and he went to do 3 lndgs. He did a nice job flying, but on the way back to a parking spot, he struck the tail of an airplane that was parked near by with his airplane's wingtip. No major damage to the wingtip of his airplane, but rudder of the other airplane may need replacement. I was on the ramp watching him taxi when this incident happened.
