Narrative:
Approximately 30 NM west of niket on R471, the captain was advised by a flight attendant of an accident, causing serious injury to flight attendant. A doctor from singapore answered the summons for medical assistance. After evaluation, he recommended immediate medical attention due to serious facial injury. We advised dispatcher and agreed to divert to hong kong. There was a normal approach and landing. She was met by medical assistance. Flight attendant was taken to a hospital. We continued the flight to narita, japan. The flight attendant was hit by food cart in galley elevator.

Title: PLT RPT ON FLT ATTENDANT INJURY, HIT BY FOOD CART IN GALLEY ELEVATOR. DIVERT TO HONG KONG FOR HOSPITALIZATION.
Narrative: APPROX 30 NM W OF NIKET ON R471, THE CAPT WAS ADVISED BY A FLT ATTENDANT OF AN ACCIDENT, CAUSING SERIOUS INJURY TO FLT ATTENDANT. A DOCTOR FROM SINGAPORE ANSWERED THE SUMMONS FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. AFTER EVALUATION, HE RECOMMENDED IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTN DUE TO SERIOUS FACIAL INJURY. WE ADVISED DISPATCHER AND AGREED TO DIVERT TO HONG KONG. THERE WAS A NORMAL APCH AND LNDG. SHE WAS MET BY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE. FLT ATTENDANT WAS TAKEN TO A HOSPITAL. WE CONTINUED THE FLT TO NARITA, JAPAN. THE FLT ATTENDANT WAS HIT BY FOOD CART IN GALLEY ELEVATOR.
