Narrative:
Touched down in ind. The aircraft started shaking, progressed to rapidly violent shaking, accompanied with loud noises of the shaking. I leaned over to look into the cabin to see ceiling panels from wing exit forward falling down over the passenger. I jumped up, telling #2 flight attendant to call the cockpit to let them know what was happening. I went into the cabin to check on the passenger and monitor the wing exit. It was when I reached the wing exit that I heard ms X yelling her commands, then the first officer announced 'to remain seated.' by this time, we had come to a stop. We made sure that the passenger were okay. No one was hurt. I stayed at the wing exit to hold on to the panels that had fallen into the aisle floor. #2 flight attendant stayed aft and ms X stayed forward while conditions were assessed. Fire trucks came out, and arrangements made to get towed to the gate. We reassured the few passenger that appeared shaken up. Others took pictures and videotaped the fuselage. Once hooked up to the tug after making sure that everyone was seated and safe from other debris, we were towed to the gate, blocking in at approximately XX40. Passenger were deplaned without injury, while other passenger helped to hold up loose panels that were hanging in the aisle. This mechanical emergency was listed as simply a maintenance, therefore steps that otherwise may have been taken to check on the crew, comfort passenger as they deplaned, etc, were not taken.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT RPT, B737-300, IAH-IND, PLANE LANDED, VIOLENT SHAKING, OVERWING CEILING PANELS FELL, NO EVAC.
Narrative: TOUCHED DOWN IN IND. THE ACFT STARTED SHAKING, PROGRESSED TO RAPIDLY VIOLENT SHAKING, ACCOMPANIED WITH LOUD NOISES OF THE SHAKING. I LEANED OVER TO LOOK INTO THE CABIN TO SEE CEILING PANELS FROM WING EXIT FORWARD FALLING DOWN OVER THE PAX. I JUMPED UP, TELLING #2 FLT ATTENDANT TO CALL THE COCKPIT TO LET THEM KNOW WHAT WAS HAPPENING. I WENT INTO THE CABIN TO CHK ON THE PAX AND MONITOR THE WING EXIT. IT WAS WHEN I REACHED THE WING EXIT THAT I HEARD MS X YELLING HER COMMANDS, THEN THE FO ANNOUNCED 'TO REMAIN SEATED.' BY THIS TIME, WE HAD COME TO A STOP. WE MADE SURE THAT THE PAX WERE OKAY.
