Narrative:
During climb out from runway 32, in an effort to avoid WX (heavy rain) deviated from published noise abatement procedure (did not intercept 295 degree radial). No altitude deviation. Should have sought clearance to deviation prior to departure. Frequency congestion/cockpit workload after takeoff precluded ATC approval. No conflict with other aircraft.
