Narrative:
Problem arose due to data block congestion on busy high departure sector -- not completely comfortable with new equipment. Radar controller initiated climb on B727 from FL350 to FL370 because next sector could not accept B727 at FL350. Conflict alert activated -- radar controller realized conflict and corrective actions were taken. B757 data tag was obscured at time of incident.

Narrative: PROB AROSE DUE TO DATA BLOCK CONGESTION ON BUSY HIGH DEP SECTOR -- NOT COMPLETELY COMFORTABLE WITH NEW EQUIP. RADAR CTLR INITIATED CLB ON B727 FROM FL350 TO FL370 BECAUSE NEXT SECTOR COULD NOT ACCEPT B727 AT FL350. CONFLICT ALERT ACTIVATED -- RADAR CTLR REALIZED CONFLICT AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS WERE TAKEN. B757 DATA TAG WAS OBSCURED AT TIME OF INCIDENT.
