Narrative:
While en route from ord to crw, on top of cvg. The overspd clackers and flaps failed. Caution messages appeared. After completing the QRH items and communicating with dispatch, we diverted to cvg because of the 10000 ft runway and its close proximity. We performed an uneventful, no flap landing. No emergency was declared but crash fire rescue equipment was alerted as a precautionary measure.
