Narrative:

As we taxied for departure, ground told us to taxi on taxiway C and hold short of an intersecting taxiway. I read back the hold short clearance and the captain understood. As we taxied, I was performing the taxi checklist. I should have been monitoring the captain as he was taxiing, because ground control called and said, 'I see you didn't hold short, hold short of the next taxiway intersection.' I apologized as I read it back. I asked the captain if he was feeling ok because that was the second time in 2 days he did his own thing while taxiing the airplane. He said he just forgot. Fortunately, there was no runway or other traffic conflict that resulted from our failing to hold short of another taxiway the first time.

Title: FLC TAXIES BEYOND HOLD SHORT POINT AT LAX.

Narrative: AS WE TAXIED FOR DEP, GND TOLD US TO TAXI ON TXWY C AND HOLD SHORT OF AN INTERSECTING TXWY. I READ BACK THE HOLD SHORT CLRNC AND THE CAPT UNDERSTOOD. AS WE TAXIED, I WAS PERFORMING THE TAXI CHKLIST. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN MONITORING THE CAPT AS HE WAS TAXIING, BECAUSE GND CTL CALLED AND SAID, 'I SEE YOU DIDN'T HOLD SHORT, HOLD SHORT OF THE NEXT TXWY INTXN.' I APOLOGIZED AS I READ IT BACK. I ASKED THE CAPT IF HE WAS FEELING OK BECAUSE THAT WAS THE SECOND TIME IN 2 DAYS HE DID HIS OWN THING WHILE TAXIING THE AIRPLANE. HE SAID HE JUST FORGOT. FORTUNATELY, THERE WAS NO RWY OR OTHER TFC CONFLICT THAT RESULTED FROM OUR FAILING TO HOLD SHORT OF ANOTHER TXWY THE FIRST TIME.
