Narrative:
In-flight medical emergency, female. 130 NM west of mdt, #1 flight attendant informed us of a medical emergency in the back. We declared an emergency and descended to the airport around a thunderstorm. Landed and taxied to the gate where the paramedics met the aircraft. They checked her out and released her.
