Narrative:
TCASII RA on final approach. Location: localizer runway 25L, lax 9 DME, on GS. At approximately 2200 ft MSL on GS for runway 25L at lax we received a TCASII 'traffic, traffic' call, immediately followed by a TCASII 'climb, climb' call. Traffic was observed on the navigation display at 11 O'clock at 1 mi, 300 ft low, then at 200 ft low as we initiated our climb to comply with the TCASII RA. The TCASII RA went silent 2-3 seconds after we initiated the escape climb. The traffic was not acquired visually by the crew, but a passenger in seat xx said he saw a light aircraft pass to our left and slightly low when we added power to climb. We were able to recapture the GS and accomplish an uneventful landing.

Title: B737 CREW HAD TCASII RA IN LAX CLASS B.
Narrative: TCASII RA ON FINAL APCH. LOCATION: LOC RWY 25L, LAX 9 DME, ON GS. AT APPROX 2200 FT MSL ON GS FOR RWY 25L AT LAX WE RECEIVED A TCASII 'TFC, TFC' CALL, IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWED BY A TCASII 'CLB, CLB' CALL. TFC WAS OBSERVED ON THE NAV DISPLAY AT 11 O'CLOCK AT 1 MI, 300 FT LOW, THEN AT 200 FT LOW AS WE INITIATED OUR CLB TO COMPLY WITH THE TCASII RA. THE TCASII RA WENT SILENT 2-3 SECONDS AFTER WE INITIATED THE ESCAPE CLB. THE TFC WAS NOT ACQUIRED VISUALLY BY THE CREW, BUT A PAX IN SEAT XX SAID HE SAW A LIGHT ACFT PASS TO OUR L AND SLIGHTLY LOW WHEN WE ADDED PWR TO CLB. WE WERE ABLE TO RECAPTURE THE GS AND ACCOMPLISH AN UNEVENTFUL LNDG.
