Narrative:
On departure from sfo international, runway 28R, runway heading for 281 degree radial sfo to normm intersection, we received TA at 2800 ft MSL. We leveled at 3000 ft MSL and ATC told us of the traffic. TA showed traffic at 1 O'clock position. TA became RA and 'monitor vertical speed' message by TCASII. The problem was having situation so close to takeoff sfo. We got visual sighting as aircraft passed on right side at 3500 ft MSL.
