Narrative:
While working with chs TRACON, a DO328-F airliner, was cautioned about following a 'heavy' Z C141 military aircraft. Moments later, we were asked to keep our speed up. Our indicated airspeed was 230 KIAS prior to GS intercept. The aircraft began being configured at 200 KIAS, just prior to udson intersection (OM). Flight crew noticed at this time that the C141 was rolling 'long' on runway 33, and a B737 (chs-ewr) had begun to taxi into position for takeoff on runway 33. By this time, aircraft was on a 3 NM final and continuing to slow. Tower (local) then stated that his computer was showing that we were doing 260 KTS (ground speed). Tower ordered aircraft to go around.

Title: A DORNIER 328 FLC WAS DIRECTED TO GO AROUND AT CHS DUE TO EXCESSIVE GND SPD RPTED BY TWR EQUIP.
Narrative: WHILE WORKING WITH CHS TRACON, A DO328-F AIRLINER, WAS CAUTIONED ABOUT FOLLOWING A 'HVY' Z C141 MIL ACFT. MOMENTS LATER, WE WERE ASKED TO KEEP OUR SPD UP. OUR INDICATED AIRSPD WAS 230 KIAS PRIOR TO GS INTERCEPT. THE ACFT BEGAN BEING CONFIGURED AT 200 KIAS, JUST PRIOR TO UDSON INTXN (OM). FLC NOTICED AT THIS TIME THAT THE C141 WAS ROLLING 'LONG' ON RWY 33, AND A B737 (CHS-EWR) HAD BEGUN TO TAXI INTO POS FOR TKOF ON RWY 33. BY THIS TIME, ACFT WAS ON A 3 NM FINAL AND CONTINUING TO SLOW. TWR (LCL) THEN STATED THAT HIS COMPUTER WAS SHOWING THAT WE WERE DOING 260 KTS (GND SPD). TWR ORDERED ACFT TO GO AROUND.
