Narrative:

I was shown on jun/xd/99 a maintenance discrepancy report to show that aircraft xyz, which was in ZZZ for a light 'C' check from jun/xa-xc/99, left ZZZ with seat rows X def and Y def were swapped in the cabin. This makes the potentially dangerous condition of seat back tray tables blocking the overwing exit route. I missed this anomaly when I bought back the seat installation.
