Narrative:
Assigned to climb to FL350 using maximum available climb rate due heavy weight. We were climbing at 200 FPM. When we were at FL347.2 ARTCC said they had us level at FL350. They pointed out traffic beneath us at FL330. TCASII showed traffic 1700 ft below (consistent with our altitude FL347.2). ARTCC later reported we had descended from FL350 to FL347. Not true -- we were climbing the entire time. I believe ARTCC radar showed us in error at FL35O, then corrected down to FL347 showing a false descent.
