Narrative:

Msp approach controller xferred us to msp tower at 14 mi. Called tower at 14 mi with no response. Called at 13 mi and was acknowledged by female tower controller. At 5 mi on localizer course and on GS with autoplt engaged, we received a TCASII TA. Traffic on TCASII was 700 ft low to our right. No visual contact made. Then got a TCASII RA. Traffic on TCASII was 300 ft low to our right. First officer got visual of a cessna northbound 300 ft low slightly behind us to our right. First officer disconnected autoplt and reduced vertical speed. RA immediately stopped. Notified msp tower supervisor after landing on a recorded line. We were never notified by tower controller of traffic.

Narrative: MSP APCH CTLR XFERRED US TO MSP TWR AT 14 MI. CALLED TWR AT 14 MI WITH NO RESPONSE. CALLED AT 13 MI AND WAS ACKNOWLEDGED BY FEMALE TWR CTLR. TFC ON TCASII WAS 300 FT LOW TO OUR R. FO GOT VISUAL OF A CESSNA NBOUND 300 FT LOW SLIGHTLY BEHIND US TO OUR R. FO DISCONNECTED AUTOPLT AND REDUCED VERT SPD. RA IMMEDIATELY STOPPED. NOTIFIED MSP TWR SUPVR AFTER LNDG ON A RECORDED LINE. WE WERE NEVER NOTIFIED BY TWR CTLR OF TFC.
