Narrative:
After safety video was played, I proceeded with cabin checks. The passenger in seat a was asked to bring his seatback up for takeoff. Passenger didn't comply and was asked again. At that point I raised the seatback for him, and continued with cabin check. The captain gave the signal for takeoff and at that point I took my seat in my jump seat. As I buckled in, the passenger said 'are you sitting there?' my response was 'yes.' at that point the passenger said 'I think you should die in that seat.' he said it again, when I asked what he said. Upon hearing it a second time, I notified the purser and proceeded to the cockpit. While I was briefing the captain, the purser went back to talk to the passenger in seat a. Once there, he observed the passenger in seat B drinking liquor out of a bottle. It was obvious that both passenger in seats a and B were drunk. The aircraft returned to the gate, and the police took the passenger and their family off the flight. Liquor was an obvious contributing factor and is a constant problem on this route.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT RPT, A300, JFK-POP, TAXI OUT, PAX VIOLATED FARS AND MADE DEATH THREATS AGAINST FLT ATTENDANT, RETURN TO GATE, PAX ARRESTED.
Narrative: AFTER SAFETY VIDEO WAS PLAYED, I PROCEEDED WITH CABIN CHKS. THE PAX IN SEAT A WAS ASKED TO BRING HIS SEATBACK UP FOR TKOF. PAX DIDN'T COMPLY AND WAS ASKED AGAIN. AT THAT POINT I RAISED THE SEATBACK FOR HIM, AND CONTINUED WITH CABIN CHK. THE CAPT GAVE THE SIGNAL FOR TKOF AND AT THAT POINT I TOOK MY SEAT IN MY JUMP SEAT. AS I BUCKLED IN, THE PAX SAID 'ARE YOU SITTING THERE?' MY RESPONSE WAS 'YES.' AT THAT POINT THE PAX SAID 'I THINK YOU SHOULD DIE IN THAT SEAT.' HE SAID IT AGAIN, WHEN I ASKED WHAT HE SAID. UPON HEARING IT A SECOND TIME, I NOTIFIED THE PURSER AND PROCEEDED TO THE COCKPIT. WHILE I WAS BRIEFING THE CAPT, THE PURSER WENT BACK TO TALK TO THE PAX IN SEAT A. ONCE THERE, HE OBSERVED THE PAX IN SEAT B DRINKING LIQUOR OUT OF A BOTTLE. IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT BOTH PAX IN SEATS A AND B WERE DRUNK. THE ACFT RETURNED TO THE GATE, AND THE POLICE TOOK THE PAX AND THEIR FAMILY OFF THE FLT. LIQUOR WAS AN OBVIOUS CONTRIBUTING FACTOR AND IS A CONSTANT PROB ON THIS RTE.
