Narrative:
A child had impetigo on hands and body. I rubbed child's hands, thought it was ant bites. Looked the same as ant bites. The mother informed me, after asking if they were ant bites, that it was impetigo. I notified captain. He notified company. We wanted to make sure we would not be held by lgw customs, because it is an infectious disease. I informed parents to inform air carrier of problem next time. We had a doctor on board, he verified it was impetigo.
