Narrative:
Passenger came to front of aircraft 5-6 times. First we had a mechanical and we went back to the gate. She wanted to know why condensation fog was coming out of ventilation units. I explained to her this was normal, 3 times at least. The other flight attendants told her this too. She returned to her seat, but poked her head into the cockpit on her way back to seat. She decided that she would stay on and not get off while we were at the gate. Once the doors were closed, she got up and we had already pushed away from the gate. She wanted to get off the flight. She then went back to her seat. Then the call light went off and I went to her seat. She couldn't put the phone back right, so I helped her. Then I went back to my jump seat, and she came up the aisle again. She wanted to know about the condensation again and wanted to go into the cockpit. I told her she had to return to her seat, as we were on the active taxiway and that we would not be able to move the aircraft till she was seated. Then she said, 'I want off this aircraft,' and started banging on the cockpit door. I said, please return to your seat. At this time, she started to grab for the phone, as I was calling the cockpit to explain the fact she would not stay in her seat. Then the cockpit door opened, and I explained to them the situation and when she saw the door opening, she came running back up to the cockpit. I told her to please return to her seat. I told her after speaking to the captain that she would have to make up her mind quickly and decide if she wanted to get off. The captain and first officer were upset because of the inconvenience to other passenger. The first officer spoke to her and she decided she wanted off and plopped herself in first class. I was back trying to see if she'd gotten all of her luggage. Passenger gave personal information to me and stated she was acting agitated from the time she first got on. After getting their cards, I saw her go by the entrance door and another passenger who works for us, who is a mechanical supervisor, chased after her, and she was going to try and open the door. We had her situation down and first officer made an announcement we were returning to gate to have a passenger removed. Then security met the flight. Her behavior was irrational.

AT THIS TIME, SHE STARTED TO GRAB FOR THE PHONE, AS I WAS CALLING THE COCKPIT TO EXPLAIN THE FACT SHE WOULD NOT STAY IN HER SEAT. THEN THE COCKPIT DOOR OPENED, AND I EXPLAINED TO THEM THE SIT AND WHEN SHE SAW THE DOOR OPENING, SHE CAME RUNNING BACK UP TO THE COCKPIT. I TOLD HER TO PLEASE RETURN TO HER SEAT. I TOLD HER AFTER SPEAKING TO THE CAPT THAT SHE WOULD HAVE TO MAKE UP HER MIND QUICKLY AND DECIDE IF SHE WANTED TO GET OFF. THE CAPT AND FO WERE UPSET BECAUSE OF THE INCONVENIENCE TO OTHER PAX. THE FO SPOKE TO HER AND SHE DECIDED SHE WANTED OFF AND PLOPPED HERSELF IN FIRST CLASS. I WAS BACK TRYING TO SEE IF SHE'D GOTTEN ALL OF HER LUGGAGE. PAX GAVE PERSONAL INFO TO ME AND STATED SHE WAS ACTING AGITATED FROM THE TIME SHE FIRST GOT ON. AFTER GETTING THEIR CARDS, I SAW HER GO BY THE ENTRANCE DOOR AND ANOTHER PAX WHO WORKS FOR US, WHO IS A MECHANICAL SUPVR, CHASED AFTER HER, AND SHE WAS GOING TO TRY AND OPEN THE DOOR. WE HAD HER SIT DOWN AND FO MADE AN ANNOUNCEMENT WE WERE RETURNING TO GATE TO HAVE A PAX REMOVED. THEN SECURITY MET THE FLT. HER BEHAVIOR WAS IRRATIONAL.
