Narrative:
Engine fire warning on #1 engine at cruise. Extinguished after engine at idle. Fault warning light intermittently on. Fire detected. Tested normally and there were no abnormal engine readings. Cle was nearest suitable so we diverted. Did not shut down engine. It was a detection problem. Engine okay. Uneventful landing. Requested fire trucks. Declared emergency. Supplemental information from acn 444099: did an engine out landing procedure with engine in idle. After landing, we shut down engine and taxied clear. Fire department did an inspection. All was well. We taxied to gate and shut down. Maintenance discovered a large quantity of red wine had spilled from first class galley and worked its way down to east&east compartment. Pan the fire warning box was in, was full of wine, including the box.
