Narrative:
On short final to runway 18R at dfw, we received a clearance to hold short taxiway B. I responded unable. Tower did not acknowledge. Crossing the threshold, tower cleared a company MD80 to cross runway 18R downfield at taxiway a. We were already committed to land and did so with maximum reverse and braking. Rollout was normal and the other aircraft crossed downfield without incident. I called the tower after gate arrival and reported the incident.

Title: LCL CTLR AT DFW INSTRUCTS MD80 ON SHORT FINAL TO HOLD SHORT OF TXWY B. PLT STATES UNABLE WHICH IS NOT ACKNOWLEDGED. CTLR THEN CLRS A COMPANY MD80 TO CROSS TXWY A WITH THE ARR AT THE THRESHOLD.
Narrative: ON SHORT FINAL TO RWY 18R AT DFW, WE RECEIVED A CLRNC TO HOLD SHORT TXWY B. I RESPONDED UNABLE. TWR DID NOT ACKNOWLEDGE. XING THE THRESHOLD, TWR CLRED A COMPANY MD80 TO CROSS RWY 18R DOWNFIELD AT TXWY A. WE WERE ALREADY COMMITTED TO LAND AND DID SO WITH MAX REVERSE AND BRAKING. ROLLOUT WAS NORMAL AND THE OTHER ACFT CROSSED DOWNFIELD WITHOUT INCIDENT. I CALLED THE TWR AFTER GATE ARR AND RPTED THE INCIDENT.
