Narrative:
In phx, I had completed normal taxi on taxiway C with ground control, and first officer had secured permission from ramp control 131.77 to enter and proceed to taxiway K for gate X. At normal taxi speed and with no visible obstacles, left or right, had entered taxiway K on centerline when approximately abeam gate Y. I was completely surprised by impact of unknown origin to aircraft. Brakes were applied at a full stop accomplished. With stop complete, I looked under left wing and saw an overturned truck. First officer advised cabin crew to remain seated and both engines were shut down normally. Advised by ground personnel of no fuel spill from aircraft or truck. Cabin crew assured no injuries to crew or passenger. Mins later, aircraft was towed to gate X for normal deplaning.

Title: B737-300 CONTACTS TRUCK WHILE TAXIING TO GATE AT PHX.
Narrative: IN PHX, I HAD COMPLETED NORMAL TAXI ON TXWY C WITH GND CTL, AND FO HAD SECURED PERMISSION FROM RAMP CTL 131.77 TO ENTER AND PROCEED TO TXWY K FOR GATE X. AT NORMAL TAXI SPD AND WITH NO VISIBLE OBSTACLES, L OR R, HAD ENTERED TXWY K ON CTRLINE WHEN APPROX ABEAM GATE Y. I WAS COMPLETELY SURPRISED BY IMPACT OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN TO ACFT. BRAKES WERE APPLIED AT A FULL STOP ACCOMPLISHED. WITH STOP COMPLETE, I LOOKED UNDER L WING AND SAW AN OVERTURNED TRUCK. FO ADVISED CABIN CREW TO REMAIN SEATED AND BOTH ENGS WERE SHUT DOWN NORMALLY. ADVISED BY GND PERSONNEL OF NO FUEL SPILL FROM ACFT OR TRUCK. CABIN CREW ASSURED NO INJURIES TO CREW OR PAX. MINS LATER, ACFT WAS TOWED TO GATE X FOR NORMAL DEPLANING.
