The cockpit called #1 flight attendant to cockpit, advised of type of emergency (hydraulic fluid leak on gear), time available (15-20 mins), and evacuate/evacuation signal (easy victor). #1 flight attendant advised crew of preparing for planned emergency landing. The captain made PA -- we diverted to stl. Crew prepared cabin. Landed without incident, taxied to gate in stl.
