Narrative:

Frequency 125.7 was lost for 2 mins as aircraft were being vectored to the runway 22L final approach. 2 aircraft at 4000 ft separated by 12 mi when frequency failed, ended passing with less than standard IFR separation before the frequency came back. Frequency 121.5 was also attempted to be used -- to no avail. It appeared that the entire rober position was out for the 2 mins.
