Narrative:
During cruise portion of flight from mem to sfo, the flight attendant reported that smoke was in the cabin behind first class. After investigation, I decided to divert to den while accomplishing the checklist for smoke in the cabin. When a pack #1 was shut down (2-3 mins later) the smoke stopped. We continued to den for repairs.
