Narrative:
On aug/xa/99, I was assigned as upgrade inspector to a C1 disk change on #3 engine on a B727-200. As per maintenance manual, I accomplished the borescope of the 6TH and 7TH stage compressor blades and the 2ND stage stator rivets. Several days later I discovered that my qualification for borescope of the JT8 engine had expired end of may 1999.

Title: A B727-200 WAS DISPATCHED IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH AN ENG BORESCOPE INSPECTION ACCOMPLISHED BY AN INSPECTOR WHOSE QUALIFICATION EXPIRED.
Narrative: ON AUG/XA/99, I WAS ASSIGNED AS UPGRADE INSPECTOR TO A C1 DISK CHANGE ON #3 ENG ON A B727-200.
