Narrative:

I held the rii qualification when I was based at ZZZ1 in the avionics department. I kept my qualification up through the cbt courses. Apparently there was no record of it during the current FAA audit. It's on my training record, but there is a question of it being up to date. An XXX qualification is missing. Supplemental information from acn 628810: one of the individuals accomplished rii in various steps of the engine change and rigging did not have a current qa-1 qualification.

Title: AN MD80 ENG CHANGE RIGGING INSPECTION WAS ACCOMPLISHED BY A TECHNICIAN WHO'S INSPECTION QUALIFICATION WAS NOT CURRENT. THIS IS AN FAA REQUIRED INSPECTION ITEM.

Narrative: I HELD THE RII QUALIFICATION WHEN I WAS BASED AT ZZZ1 IN THE AVIONICS DEPT. I KEPT MY QUALIFICATION UP THROUGH THE CBT COURSES. APPARENTLY THERE WAS NO RECORD OF IT DURING THE CURRENT FAA AUDIT. IT'S ON MY TRAINING RECORD, BUT THERE IS A QUESTION OF IT BEING UP TO DATE. AN XXX QUALIFICATION IS MISSING. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 628810: ONE OF THE INDIVIDUALS ACCOMPLISHED RII IN VARIOUS STEPS OF THE ENG CHANGE AND RIGGING DID NOT HAVE A CURRENT QA-1 QUALIFICATION.
