Narrative:

At FL290 and mach .80 we experienced clear air turbulence (severe). ATC notified and talked with dispatch. The aircraft #1 autoplt and #1 yaw damper kicked off. The flight conditions prior were smooth and clear -- no WX associated. The seatbelt sign was off and 2 passenger experienced minor cuts (they were in the aft lavatory and associated area). A medical doctor attended to their needs. Additionally, a pregnant woman started to experience contractions. A mayday was declared and expedited into ZZZZ 200 NM. No other associated problems with aircraft or passenger. Maintenance personnel met us in ZZZZ. Log entry made describing incident and flight conditions. Maintenance notified after arrival in ZZZZ and debrief with dispatch.
