Narrative:

Departure off runway 17, arrival runway 35, D328 aircraft X runway heading. BE1900 aircraft Y on vector visual approach. I was working tower. Initial heading 140 degrees and 3000 ft. Radar called and said, 'put aircraft X on runway heading and climb.' canceled heading and altitude on departure to runway heading and 10000 ft, radar contact, visual separation, but could be 3 or less mi. Advised supervisor first thing in the morning of possible error, no supervisor on duty at time.
