Narrative:

Engine fire reported by ground control in right engine after engine start. Ran engine fire on the ground checklist. Returned to gate and deplaned the passenger through the jetway. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter again stated there were no cockpit indications of fire. Several aircraft reported a small fire in the aft section of the engine. After approximately 2 mins the fire department arrived and used water to put out a small flame in the aft section of the engine. Maintenance was unable to find any damage which would have resulted, had this occurred in the forward section of the engine, and felt that it had been a torching incident.
