Narrative:
We took off. Within mins the captain called the senior flight attendant and said we were going back to the gate due to an indicator light that was on for the landing gear. We had to burn some fuel first, then landed safely. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter said that the crew did not prepare the cabin for evacuate/evacuation. When they returned to phl, the flight was eventually canceled and the crew deadheaded home.
