Narrative:
A right engine oil leak was detected by the cockpit. The captain called me via interphone and asked me to come to the cockpit. Captain explained we would be shutting down right engine to conserve oil and would restart engine for landing. He told me we'd be diverting to dfw, no planned evacuate/evacuation anticipated or needed. No problems, no injuries, no panic. The cockpit did a great job keeping me informed and making great PA's, which calmed the passenger and instilled confidence.
