Narrative:
Flight from lbe to pit. On approach to the airport in visual conditions, we were advised of the tower frequency. The flight crew as well as the controller were very busy. Due to the situation, the flight crew did not switch to tower until touchdown. Upon touchdown, the flight crew was contacted by the tower to contact ground control followed by ramp control. Supplemental information from acn 448495: we were being vectored very tightly and asked to keep the speed up as much as possible. I had a very new first officer and he forgot to switch us to tower and advise we were next to land. Result -- we ended up landing without talking with tower until we were on the rollout and he asked us in a calm voice to 'taxi clear and contact ground' (just as normal).
