Narrative:

While cruising at FL350 we got a TCASII TA, immediately followed by a climb RA. We told ZOB we were climbing, responding to an RA. RA stopped as we passed approximately FL360 so we returned to assigned altitude of FL350. After we were back on altitude we asked ZOB if a loss of separation had occurred or if we had received a false warning. Controller stated that a loss of separation had occurred and said we'd hear another voice shortly. The other voice never came and were switched on to the next center sector. I'm wondering what happened to cause this loss of separation. To the best of our knowledge, we were complying with our clearance.
