Narrative:
We were level at 11000 ft. Center advised us of an aircraft Y B737 that was at our 2 O'clock position, 5 mi, level at 10000 ft. We had both visual and on TCASII. Center also notified aircraft Y crew of our position. They acknowledged visual contact. The controller asked them if they could maintain visual climb with us, they said yes. They were cleared to climb to a higher altitude than ours. The first officer and myself then saw him start climbing in front of us about 2 mi from us. Our TCASII went into a 'climb, climb now' RA giving us a 3000+ ft climb. I proceeded with full power to that climb rate. TCASII then stated increase rate of climb, so I proceeded to climb at 4500 ft until our speed started getting too slow, so I turned right of course. The aircraft Y plane I saw in TCASII getting close to 100 ft when TCASII showed us clear of conflict. We leveled off at 15000 ft. Notified ATC of our RA response.

Title: ACR RECEIVES TCASII RA THAT CALLS FOR CLB BEYOND THE CAPABILITY OF THE ACFT, AFTER ATC GIVES VISUAL CLB TO 2 ACFT WITH VISUAL CONTACT.
Narrative: WE WERE LEVEL AT 11000 FT. CTR ADVISED US OF AN ACFT Y B737 THAT WAS AT OUR 2 O'CLOCK POS, 5 MI, LEVEL AT 10000 FT. WE HAD BOTH VISUAL AND ON TCASII. CTR ALSO NOTIFIED ACFT Y CREW OF OUR POS. THEY ACKNOWLEDGED VISUAL CONTACT. THE CTLR ASKED THEM IF THEY COULD MAINTAIN VISUAL CLB WITH US, THEY SAID YES. THEY WERE CLRED TO CLB TO A HIGHER ALT THAN OURS. THE FO AND MYSELF THEN SAW HIM START CLBING IN FRONT OF US ABOUT 2 MI FROM US. OUR TCASII WENT INTO A 'CLB, CLB NOW' RA GIVING US A 3000+ FT CLB. I PROCEEDED WITH FULL PWR TO THAT CLB RATE. TCASII THEN STATED INCREASE RATE OF CLB, SO I PROCEEDED TO CLB AT 4500 FT UNTIL OUR SPD STARTED GETTING TOO SLOW, SO I TURNED R OF COURSE. THE ACFT Y PLANE I SAW IN TCASII GETTING CLOSE TO 100 FT WHEN TCASII SHOWED US CLR OF CONFLICT. WE LEVELED OFF AT 15000 FT. NOTIFIED ATC OF OUR RA RESPONSE.
