Narrative:
After takeoff from grb, the gear handle was raised but the nose gear remained down. An emergency was declared. The landing gear handle was placed down and all 3 gear indicated down and green. An uneventful landing was made at grb, and after having the gear pins installed, the aircraft was taxied to the gate. The problem was discovered by the noise of the nose gear being down.
