Narrative:
5 NM northwest of craff on the STAR, the aircraft's electrical system went off-line and circuit breakers (avionics) started popping. While consulting the checklist and resetting circuit breakers, I lost voice and navigation with dfw approach. I inadvertently missed a 30 degree turn to the east at craff while dealing with the situation. With everything back on-line, I advised approach (124.3) of the occurrence and she said 'no problem' and then gave me vectors. Maintenance found a weak circuit breaker controling the avionics bus.
