Narrative:
During level flight at FL290, the autoplt made an uncommanded pitch over. Tried to override, but it would not at first. Pulled harder and finally overrode into control wheel steering pitch. Re-leveled at FL290. Unknown what caused the problem. Did fine the rest of the day.

Title: B737 FO RPTED AN UNCOMMANDED AUTOPLT PITCH OVER. THE CREW HAD TO EXERT CONSIDERABLE PRESSURE BEFORE THEY COULD OVERRIDE THE AUTOPLT.
Narrative: DURING LEVEL FLT AT FL290, THE AUTOPLT MADE AN UNCOMMANDED PITCH OVER. TRIED TO OVERRIDE, BUT IT WOULD NOT AT FIRST. PULLED HARDER AND FINALLY OVERRODE INTO CTL WHEEL STEERING PITCH. RE-LEVELED AT FL290. UNKNOWN WHAT CAUSED THE PROB. DID FINE THE REST OF THE DAY.
