Narrative:
I taxied my aircraft from the ramp area onto taxiway, crossed 2 txwys and a runway when I suddenly realized that I had not contacted ground control to obtain proper clearance. Furthermore, the runway was active at the time. No incident or occurrence happened because of this. I was not asked to call the tower, but did so myself. The only contributing factors to this were that my head was not concentrating on the work to be done. I was upset with my boss and was consumed with thoughts of quitting instead of taxiing. I basically was taxiing like I was driving my car -- I stopped at the intxns, looked both ways, and proceeded. All I can say is my head was not in it. I don't believe fatigue had anything to do with this and definitely not illness or medication. Nope, strictly pilot error, pilot not thinking, not paying attention.

Title: C402 PLT TAXIES WITHOUT REQUESTING CLRNC AND CROSSES THE ACTIVE RWY.
Narrative: I TAXIED MY ACFT FROM THE RAMP AREA ONTO TXWY, CROSSED 2 TXWYS AND A RWY WHEN I SUDDENLY REALIZED THAT I HAD NOT CONTACTED GND CTL TO OBTAIN PROPER CLRNC. FURTHERMORE, THE RWY WAS ACTIVE AT THE TIME. NO INCIDENT OR OCCURRENCE HAPPENED BECAUSE OF THIS. I WAS NOT ASKED TO CALL THE TWR, BUT DID SO MYSELF.
