Narrative:
The flight was a short VFR flight from ocw (washington, nc) to iso (kinston, nc). En route, elected to fly over pgv (greenville, nc) to observe my normal home airport which was flooded from recent rains from hurricane. I circled the field and then proceeded directly to iso and landed. After landing at iso, I learned from other pilots and kinston tower that a temporary flight restr (tfr) had been implemented for a 20 mi radius from pgv up to 7000 ft MSL. I later learned that it had been effective since about XA00 hours on sep/xx/99. This meant that I had unknowingly entered the temporary flight restr area. Although I had checked the NOTAMS earlier before my flight and the tfr was not in effect, I didn't check just before my flight. It's possible if I had called the FSS just before the flight, I would have known about the tfr. When I called FSS later that day from con (concord, nh), they did not advise me of the restr. Therefore, it was slow getting into the NOTAM system. Regardless, I did not see any other aircraft or interfere with any on-going operations while I was in the tfr.

Title: A BE20 FLC FLEW THROUGH A NOTAMED TFR AT PGV.
Narrative: THE FLT WAS A SHORT VFR FLT FROM OCW (WASHINGTON, NC) TO ISO (KINSTON, NC). ENRTE, ELECTED TO FLY OVER PGV (GREENVILLE, NC) TO OBSERVE MY NORMAL HOME ARPT WHICH WAS FLOODED FROM RECENT RAINS FROM HURRICANE. I CIRCLED THE FIELD AND THEN PROCEEDED DIRECTLY TO ISO AND LANDED. AFTER LNDG AT ISO, I LEARNED FROM OTHER PLTS AND KINSTON TWR THAT A TEMPORARY FLT RESTR (TFR) HAD BEEN IMPLEMENTED FOR A 20 MI RADIUS FROM PGV UP TO 7000 FT MSL. I LATER LEARNED THAT IT HAD BEEN EFFECTIVE SINCE ABOUT XA00 HRS ON SEP/XX/99. THIS MEANT THAT I HAD UNKNOWINGLY ENTERED THE TEMPORARY FLT RESTR AREA. ALTHOUGH I HAD CHKED THE NOTAMS EARLIER BEFORE MY FLT AND THE TFR WAS NOT IN EFFECT, I DIDN'T CHK JUST BEFORE MY FLT. IT'S POSSIBLE IF I HAD CALLED THE FSS JUST BEFORE THE FLT, I WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT THE TFR. WHEN I CALLED FSS LATER THAT DAY FROM CON (CONCORD, NH), THEY DID NOT ADVISE ME OF THE RESTR. THEREFORE, IT WAS SLOW GETTING INTO THE NOTAM SYS. REGARDLESS, I DID NOT SEE ANY OTHER ACFT OR INTERFERE WITH ANY ON-GOING OPS WHILE I WAS IN THE TFR.
