Narrative:
Cleared for takeoff on runway 15R. Another aircraft reported at 2 mi to runway 22L. At approximately 100-110 KTS, tower called us saying, 'takeoff clearance canceled.' as I initiated the rejected takeoff, tower asked if we could hold short of runway 22L. First officer replied, 'negative.' (policy is captain rejects the takeoff.) landing aircraft on runway 22L initiated a go around. Taxied back for another takeoff. Tower operator should have sent around the landing aircraft, behind our takeoff aircraft. Would have been safer. After flight, I talked to bos tower assistant supervisor. He said they were pulling the tapes for review.

Title: ACR REJECTS TKOF WHEN TWR CANCELS TKOF CLRNC BECAUSE TFC LNDG ON XING RWY IS TOO CLOSE.
Narrative: CLRED FOR TKOF ON RWY 15R. ANOTHER ACFT RPTED AT 2 MI TO RWY 22L. AT APPROX 100-110 KTS, TWR CALLED US SAYING, 'TKOF CLRNC CANCELED.' AS I INITIATED THE REJECTED TKOF, TWR ASKED IF WE COULD HOLD SHORT OF RWY 22L. FO REPLIED, 'NEGATIVE.' (POLICY IS CAPT REJECTS THE TKOF.) LNDG ACFT ON RWY 22L INITIATED A GAR. TAXIED BACK FOR ANOTHER TKOF. TWR OPERATOR SHOULD HAVE SENT AROUND THE LNDG ACFT, BEHIND OUR TKOF ACFT. WOULD HAVE BEEN SAFER. AFTER FLT, I TALKED TO BOS TWR ASSISTANT SUPVR. HE SAID THEY WERE PULLING THE TAPES FOR REVIEW.
