Narrative:

Due to radio (blind spots) at abq, I had much difficulty in obtaining a departure clearance. I obtained a taxi clearance with one radio while trying to obtain a departure clearance with the other. While taxiing (the route I usually receive), I was told I was taxiing on a route other than cleared. I then followed their instructions to the departure runway. I also finally received my departure clearance once I was out of one of the blind spots. Trying to do 2 things at once with 2 sets of radios and radio blind spots at abq was a major factor.
