Narrative:
Las americas tower, 118.1. Location: runway 17, takeoff phase. Just after rotation, 2 egrets passed in front of the aircraft -- one of which was ingested into the #1 engine. A slight vibration was felt in the aircraft and it was confirmed by the N2 vibration on ECAM. No engine parameters exceeded normal tolerance and the vibration wasn't enough to trigger an advisory on ECAM. We landed at a gross weight of 336000 pounds at a sink rate between 200-300 FPM. An emergency was declared with crash fire rescue equipment equipment in position for potentially hot brakes.
