Narrative:

PF was on a stabilized approach. At approximately 300 ft AGL, I began to break out approach lights. At 200 ft AGL, all approach lights/runway lights in sight despite increased rainfall. It was difficult to see runway surface. Aircraft started drifting right of centerline and correction was made by PF after call by PNF. Aircraft landed slightly right of centerline with no crab. Upon touchdown, aircraft drifted towards right side of runway. PF corrected and brought aircraft back to centerline. Upon postflt by maintenance, there was grass around right main gear. It is a possibility that heavy rainfall on runway coupled with a crosswind from the left caused the aircraft to drift towards the side of the runway. There were no abrupt actions by the aircraft or pilot. The approach was stabilized with exception of a slight drift to the right on short final which was corrected by PF. Post inspection of right edge of runway revealed no evidence of departure from the prepared surface.

Title: ACR FINDS GRASS ON LNDG GEAR AFTER LNDG DURING RAIN STORM.

Narrative: PF WAS ON A STABILIZED APCH. AT APPROX 300 FT AGL, I BEGAN TO BREAK OUT APCH LIGHTS. AT 200 FT AGL, ALL APCH LIGHTS/RWY LIGHTS IN SIGHT DESPITE INCREASED RAINFALL. IT WAS DIFFICULT TO SEE RWY SURFACE. ACFT STARTED DRIFTING R OF CTRLINE AND CORRECTION WAS MADE BY PF AFTER CALL BY PNF. ACFT LANDED SLIGHTLY R OF CTRLINE WITH NO CRAB. UPON TOUCHDOWN, ACFT DRIFTED TOWARDS R SIDE OF RWY. PF CORRECTED AND BROUGHT ACFT BACK TO CTRLINE. UPON POSTFLT BY MAINT, THERE WAS GRASS AROUND R MAIN GEAR. IT IS A POSSIBILITY THAT HVY RAINFALL ON RWY COUPLED WITH A XWIND FROM THE L CAUSED THE ACFT TO DRIFT TOWARDS THE SIDE OF THE RWY. THERE WERE NO ABRUPT ACTIONS BY THE ACFT OR PLT. THE APCH WAS STABILIZED WITH EXCEPTION OF A SLIGHT DRIFT TO THE R ON SHORT FINAL WHICH WAS CORRECTED BY PF. POST INSPECTION OF R EDGE OF RWY REVEALED NO EVIDENCE OF DEP FROM THE PREPARED SURFACE.
