Narrative:

On a business flight from lfbb to eddn on sep/xa/99, approximately XX20, the FMS command bars called for a left turn after takeoff, taking the aircraft off the published SID. After leveling at 3000 ft, we crosschecked and started corrective action when the controller mandated a continuation of the left turn to a heading of 070 degrees effectively taking the flight off the SID. The deviation was for less than 1 min and the TCASII showed no conflicting traffic. The elapsed time of less than 1 min was taken by controling speed and altitude while xchking with the copilot for the reason of the deviation and the necessary correction. The controller advised that he will file a report. The rest of the flight was uneventful and we landed in eddn around XY00.

Title: A CPR FLC DEVIATES FROM THE DEP SID AT PARIS ORLY WHEN THEY FOLLOW THE TURN INDICATED ON THEIR FMS COMMAND BAR. LFPB, FO.

Narrative: ON A BUSINESS FLT FROM LFBB TO EDDN ON SEP/XA/99, APPROX XX20, THE FMS COMMAND BARS CALLED FOR A L TURN AFTER TKOF, TAKING THE ACFT OFF THE PUBLISHED SID. AFTER LEVELING AT 3000 FT, WE XCHKED AND STARTED CORRECTIVE ACTION WHEN THE CTLR MANDATED A CONTINUATION OF THE L TURN TO A HDG OF 070 DEGS EFFECTIVELY TAKING THE FLT OFF THE SID. THE DEV WAS FOR LESS THAN 1 MIN AND THE TCASII SHOWED NO CONFLICTING TFC. THE ELAPSED TIME OF LESS THAN 1 MIN WAS TAKEN BY CTLING SPD AND ALT WHILE XCHKING WITH THE COPLT FOR THE REASON OF THE DEV AND THE NECESSARY CORRECTION. THE CTLR ADVISED THAT HE WILL FILE A RPT.
