Narrative:
Location: 100 NM northwest of pls. During climb out from pls, our #2 tank lost 3500 pounds of fuel. We elected to return to pls and land after running the checklist. After leveling at FL310 and turning off the altitude hold. We gained 200 ft before descending. No conflict noted. ZMA treated us like an emergency, so I thought I'd file this in case something came of it.
