Narrative:
We accepted a clearance to cross 35 mi southwest of jaxsn intersection at FL250. While passing FL275, we were queried as to our altitude. We responded and were told that the controller thought the clearance was for FL290, but that no harm was done. Controller missed our initially incorrect readback.
