Narrative:
On climb out, flight attendant #2 noticed haze/smoke in the cabin and alerted flight attendant #1, who advised the cockpit crew. Upon assessment of the situation, the captain shut down the air conditioning system and turned back to bos. The captain made PA's to keep all passenger and crew apprised of the situation and actions being taken. Landing information regarding the presence of emergency vehicles was also announced. The aircraft landed safely and returned to a gate, where all passenger and crew were met and disembarked.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT RPT, S80, BOS-ORD, SMOKE IN CABIN ON CLBOUT, CAPT SHUT DOWN AIR CONDITIONING, RETURN TO BOS.
Narrative: ON CLBOUT, FLT ATTENDANT #2 NOTICED HAZE/SMOKE IN THE CABIN AND ALERTED FLT ATTENDANT #1, WHO ADVISED THE COCKPIT CREW. UPON ASSESSMENT OF THE SIT, THE CAPT SHUT DOWN THE AIR CONDITIONING SYS AND TURNED BACK TO BOS. THE CAPT MADE PA'S TO KEEP ALL PAX AND CREW APPRISED OF THE SIT AND ACTIONS BEING TAKEN. LNDG INFO REGARDING THE PRESENCE OF EMER VEHICLES WAS ALSO ANNOUNCED. THE ACFT LANDED SAFELY AND RETURNED TO A GATE, WHERE ALL PAX AND CREW WERE MET AND DISEMBARKED.
