Narrative:

10 mins prior to oak fir entry, we contacted sfo radio on HF as given to us by tokyo radio. Sfo acknowledged our estimated crossing of XA31Z of the fir and instructed us to use XXXX as primary on next report to sfo. At next report point, sfo had not been informed of our fir crossing. We gave controller same information as before and nothing else was said.

Narrative: 10 MINS PRIOR TO OAK FIR ENTRY, WE CONTACTED SFO RADIO ON HF AS GIVEN TO US BY TOKYO RADIO. SFO ACKNOWLEDGED OUR ESTIMATED XING OF XA31Z OF THE FIR AND INSTRUCTED US TO USE XXXX AS PRIMARY ON NEXT RPT TO SFO. AT NEXT RPT POINT, SFO HAD NOT BEEN INFORMED OF OUR FIR XING. WE GAVE CTLR SAME INFO AS BEFORE AND NOTHING ELSE WAS SAID.
