Narrative:
I was taxiing back to runway threshold on taxiway G with a student when I observed a stationair on short final, lined up for the taxiway that myself and my student were occupying. The aircraft overflew us at a low altitude and landed uneventfully on the taxiway beyond us. I got on ground control and told the tower that someone had just landed on a taxiway. The tower said 'yes, we saw that' and then the tower said to the aircraft 'I would tell you to taxi off, but you are already there.' the pilot replied, 'I saw that.' we would have been killed if we had been further down the taxiway. The txwys and runway (runway 16L) are clearly marked. From now on I will check for landing traffic on the txwys and runway. This was a good lesson for my student!

Title: A C172 CFI, HOLDING ON THE TXWY AT PAE, WAS OVERFLOWN BY A STATIONAIR WHICH LANDED FURTHER DOWN ON THE SAME TXWY.
Narrative: I WAS TAXIING BACK TO RWY THRESHOLD ON TXWY G WITH A STUDENT WHEN I OBSERVED A STATIONAIR ON SHORT FINAL, LINED UP FOR THE TXWY THAT MYSELF AND MY STUDENT WERE OCCUPYING. THE ACFT OVERFLEW US AT A LOW ALT AND LANDED UNEVENTFULLY ON THE TXWY BEYOND US. I GOT ON GND CTL AND TOLD THE TWR THAT SOMEONE HAD JUST LANDED ON A TXWY. THE TWR SAID 'YES, WE SAW THAT' AND THEN THE TWR SAID TO THE ACFT 'I WOULD TELL YOU TO TAXI OFF, BUT YOU ARE ALREADY THERE.' THE PLT REPLIED, 'I SAW THAT.' WE WOULD HAVE BEEN KILLED IF WE HAD BEEN FURTHER DOWN THE TXWY. THE TXWYS AND RWY (RWY 16L) ARE CLRLY MARKED. FROM NOW ON I WILL CHK FOR LNDG TFC ON THE TXWYS AND RWY. THIS WAS A GOOD LESSON FOR MY STUDENT!
