Narrative:
While approaching gate xa in abq, I found an aircraft parked directly behind gate xa and one parked on gate xb. There is little maneuvering space and little room for error. Discussing this with the station manager, I found this had been done for 2 yrs. The potential is very great to damage an aircraft. If this is the only place to park the overnight aircraft, then the arriving aircraft should be towed in.
