Narrative:
Complete electrical failure in cruise. Pumped gear down according to emergency procedures. Visually checked to make sure gear down. No green light because of electrical failure. When landing, rear gear collapsed. No injury. Have backup electrical system/battery pack available. Install an emergency indicator for safe gear operation. Have alternator checked every 6 months, besides annually.

Title: A LOW TIME PVT PLT EXPERIENCED AN ELECTRICAL FAILURE, CAUSING HIS LNDG GEAR TO FAIL ON TOUCHDOWN.
Narrative: COMPLETE ELECTRICAL FAILURE IN CRUISE. PUMPED GEAR DOWN ACCORDING TO EMER PROCS. VISUALLY CHKED TO MAKE SURE GEAR DOWN. NO GREEN LIGHT BECAUSE OF ELECTRICAL FAILURE. WHEN LNDG, REAR GEAR COLLAPSED. NO INJURY. HAVE BACKUP ELECTRICAL SYS/BATTERY PACK AVAILABLE. INSTALL AN EMER INDICATOR FOR SAFE GEAR OP. HAVE ALTERNATOR CHKED EVERY 6 MONTHS, BESIDES ANNUALLY.
